catching up with old friends; the conversations always lead to absurd pasts. point is, we are getting old. comparing our ailments and aging signs, a competition that never fails to amuse us. last night, we had this home party and all i can say is that i was first to show my disgusting old age syndrome. by nine, i was stifling yawns. by ten, my eyes were tearing. by eleven, my lids were drooping. by twelve, i was involuntarily dozing off sitting up. by one, i had stretched to my maximum, i could barely move, laden with fatigue. waking up this morning was a challenge. every inch of my body ache, as though to protest on my ever-so-rare late night rendezvous. i even feel dehydrated. no yoga for me today. i definitely need a massage. see, yet another old woman habit. *sign
