Bus Journal with Lindsie: Chronicle 4

Lindsie ponders on her slight disappearance, "What happened? It's three in the afternoon and I still can't catch a wink!"

The accumulative stress had taken its toll on her health. The erratic weather is of no help to her already frail body. Life keeps getting worse. Her cynicism is confirmed by the way things operate in her bureau. The numerous complaints she received urged her to hasten her decision.

Back when Lindsie was a student, she had several options. All those youthful aspirations and potentials simply fade into wild dreams and distant memories. She could be a museum curator, a writer or even a textile designer. Suppose she is in Italy, producing luscious textiles and fabrics to die for! At this moment, she keeps her fantasies abreast in books and magazines; a typical methodology usually adopted in adulthood. This psychological defense is used against total self destruction. "God, blank out my mind. How can I rest with all these visuals rotating?"
