happy cooking day.

a calm and easy day...turned out that everybody's gone out and i had the whole apartment to myself...d. came over to watch some TV while revising for his ACCA paper the next day...fed him with chocolates jo brought back from paris, and i made bombay toast...since i had the entire kitchen to myself, i decided to cook dinner...my maid had been so protective over the kitchen, totally out of bound for us...it wasn't like this before...but having her for the last ten years, we kind of got used to it...i used to do the cooking as a child...my parents were always busy working, so i took up the task to feed jo and myself...when suppro came along, we engaged the maid, who later became the aggressive aunty, bossing us around...with her out for the day, i boiled rice, made croquettes and stir-fried cauliflower in olive oil...but silly me, being pretty out of touch, cooked only enough for one serving...i fed d. and he liked his dinner...good...my next dishes will be chicken curry and fried rice...once the kitchen is clear again...anyone with recipes to contribute is most welcomed...:)
