i don't like sedated high
when i smoke a joint,
the floor opens up &
swallow me whole.
i feel claustrophobic.
when i drink a wine,
the floor turn rock solid,
made sure that i hit hard.
that's why i don't like sedated high.
i do get high
stayed awake all night,
my body coffee-ly induced,
all the cigarettes i consumed,
my mind wandered,
keeps me afloat,
places i missed in the schedule,
its symptoms lingered,
till i retched....
